Thanks, you helped me so much to understand the problem:)So, first, Rainmeter is not the cause of the behavior, it's either DropTop Four, JaxCore, or the combination of both (or, to be even more specific, a part of one of these). Granted, they are exceptionally good looking skins (not apps) that offer extensive functionality, in which their authors put a lot of effort, but they're also quite complex ones and, for the sake of achieving a certain goal or effect or behavior, they rely on various scripts and carefully tailored / ordered steps to do their thing. Something that either you or the OS did or did not do probably messed one of them or both (or their settings).
Normally, to solve this, you'd remove both and reinstall them again cleanly (a clean Rainmeter install could help too). The thing is, some of these skins might have parts that are not necessarily in the Skins folder, or that need to be first stopped (e.g. background processes or similar), so that should be taken into consideration when attempting to remove them. If both of them worked for you for 3 months without an issue, then maybe they'll work the same after clean installing the related stuff. That is, of course, if you want to keep using them, as there's also the option of just removal and using other skins that are less / not susceptible to such problems - this is your choice.
P.S. By the way, other skins than these could have also caused the problem. Most of the time the solution to any strange Rainmeter behavior is to unload skins one by one until you figure out exactly which skin caused or causes the issue.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
